The Phare d’Eckmühl’s canned fish are prepared with the finest ingredients! Our wild fish, sardines, tuna, mackerel and our farmed fish, trout and salmon certified organic, are prepared using different cooking methods. The sardines are fried in organic oil and the mackerels cooked in court bouillon. All canned fish are prepared with organic spices and condiments mostly handfinished.

We’ve being work with the fish for 150 years, at the tip of Brittany, near the Lighthouse Eckmühl. Precursors for organic canned fish, we defend a rational fishing and fishing methods that respect the marine environment.

Our cannery is located in Douarnenez, a country where the sardine is a tradition as the inhabitants have inherited the name "penn sardin" literally "head of sardines" in Breton, so called because of the shape of the cap.
